It started with one message:
"We're looking to design a high-end knife block — stone (preferably a concrete look) combined with timber. Earthy industrial feel. It needs to hold at least 6 knives. The attached drink coaster has the exposed concrete look we want."
We developed 3 distinct concepts exploring different combinations of marble, granite, wood, and steel. After client review, we refined the winning direction through 4 iterations to the final design you see below.
